Dear EU Network relation,
You are hereby invited to the 8th and final 2021 Thematic Workshop session held on November 24 (12:00 CEST), organised by the Empowering EU ISAC consortium and the European Commission (DG CONNECT).
This workshop is about Supply Chain Cybersecurity. An important topic that can be approached from many perspectives.
Please review the slides of this workshop here
During the workshop, Marianthi Theocharidou, a Cyber Security Officer from ENISA provides an overview on the threat landscape for supply chain attacks. They have written a report that mapped and studied supply chain attacks that were discovered from January 2020 to early July 2021. There will be room for questions, so prepare them in advance or ask them on the fly during the presentation!
Our second speaker is Bart van Riel, Enterprise Architect at Capgemini Invent. Bart works in the Empower EU ISAC consortium. He will dive into the software side of supply chains.
The presentation will go into detail about a SBOM, short for ‘Software Bill of Material’, and what it contributes -or can contribute- to managing supply chain risk.
Best, The Empowering EU-ISAC Consortium
